I've been a big fan of Kevin Smith
since "Clerk's" and a bigger fan since I met him at a signing
and got his autograph. As you can
see, he wrote something very cool in my Clerks/Chasing Amy screenplay, as he
did for everyone else that day. Other directors (Tarantino!) should
take note as to how to treat their fans from Smith. The guy is as cool as can be and his writing style
always makes me laugh. Even after having seen "Clerk's", reading
the screenplay made me laugh out loud. Its too bad that ABC didn't give his TV
show "Clerk's: The Series" a chance to find an audience, I'm sure
it would have developed a following had it been given a chance. Here's a
clip...(coming soon) This comic strip was "borrowed" from the NY Times Sunday Magazine, online edition around the time of the release of "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back". For some unknown reason this page and its and its corresponding links are only viewable with Internet Explorer. |
